Why Now?
This is a critical and historic time in America and the world. Traditional political parties are failing to meet the needs of the people, our black legacy organizations are struggling to find relevancy, stamina, and connection to this generation, and nation wide, people, leaders and communities are looking for new political homes that more closely align, represent and identify with who they are and the world they want to see. Anvil Institute is not simply a civic vehicle for today, but the political home and cultural community for the future.
A Vision Within Reach
While the goal of Anvil Institute is ambitious, it is not unrealistic. There is no need to compete or attempt to derail mainstream political parties and legacy institutions. Our goal is to build and develop safe social, political and community space for Free African Voices in order to supplement the need for strategic messaging and advocacy that align with the needs of our community.Â
